The algebra of q-pseudodifferential symbols and the q-W_{KP}^n algebra

In this paper we continue with the program to explore the topography of the space of W-type algebras. In the present case, the starting point is the work of Khesin, Lyubashenko and Roger on the algebra of q-deformed pseudodifferential symbols and their associated integrable hierarchies. The analysis goes on by studying the associated hamiltonian structures for which compact expressions are found. The fundamental Poisson brackets yield q-deformations of W_{KP} and related W-type algebras which, in specific cases, coincide with the ones constructed by Frenkel and Reshetikhin. The construction underlies a continuous correspondence between the hamiltonian structures of the Toda lattice and the KP hierarchies.Comment: 28 pages. Section 5 revised. Misprints corrected. A Multicultural Experience Boosted by Specialized European Master: A Real Approach to Internatioanl Project Management

When the Specialized Master in International Project Management started in Madrid in 2009, ESCP Europe, a high-level school of management with international scope, decided to reinforce the European institution and also to foster innovation sustaining a wide international partnership network. Students and executives came from around the world and the school offered them a model of Project Management which prepared them for the multicultural future where geographically dispersed projects teams must collaborate with a common goal. Created in 1988, this Master keeps evolving and is a truly international program with international students and a real methodological revolution in Project Management education including international seminaries and destinations in emerging countries: Either, India and China, or Brazil and Argentina. Actinomicetos termoalcalófilos del área subtropical de Jujuy, Argentina

El objetivo de este trabajo fue examinar los actinomicetos termoalcalófilos presentes en el área subtropical de Jujuy, Argentina, caracterizada por el cultivo de la caña de azúcar. Se aislaron en medio con novobiocina las especies Laceyella putida, Laceyella sacchari, Thermoactinomyces intermedius, Thermoactinomyces vulgaris y Thermoflavimicrobium dichotomicum a partir de la rizósfera de plantas y de renuevos de caña de azúcar, así como de suelos de pastura y de monte natural. El pH de los suelos era casi neutro a ligeramente alcalino, excepto en un solo caso en que el suelo estaba acidificado por licor láctico. El número de actinomicetos encontrados sobre los tejidos vivos y en el bagazo recién obtenido o almacenado según el método de Ritter fue pequeño en comparación con el observado sobre las hojas en descomposición. L. sacchari predominó respecto de T. vulgaris. Se aislaron especies termoalcalófilas de Laceyella, Thermoactinomyces, Thermoflavimicrobium, Saccharomonospora, Streptomyces y Thermononospora de los residuos compostados de caña de azúcar utilizando medio sin novobiocina. El aire capturado cerca de pilas de bagazo en compostaje contenía esporos de estos organismos.The objective of this study was to examine the alkalithermophilic actinomycete communities in the subtropical environment of Jujuy, Argentina, characterized by sugarcane crops. Laceyella putida, Laceyella sacchari, Thermoactinomyces intermedius, Thermoactinomyces vulgaris and Thermoflavimicrobium dichotomicum were isolated on the media with novobiocin, from sugar cane plants and renewal rhizospheres, and grass and wood soils. Soil pH was almost neutral or lightly alkaline, except for grass soil acidified by lactic liquor. A smaller number of actinomycetes was found on the living plants and bagasse (recently obtained or stored according to the Ritter method) with respect to decomposed leaves on the soil. Thermophilic species of Laceyella, Thermoactinomyces, Thermoflavimicrobium, Saccharomonospora, Streptomyces and Thermononospora were isolated on the media without novobiocin, from composted sugar cane residues. El fuego ritual y la purificación. Caracterización de las fiestas de las candelas en Extremadura

El texto del artículo lo he estructurado en tres partes: en la primera trato sobre los aspectos socioantropológicos de las fiestas; aparte los elementos formales y manifiestos de las fiestas, me ocupo especialmente de las funciones y los significados no explícitos; en la segunda trato de caracterizar las fiestas de las candelas y sus modelos etnográficos en Extremadura. Indirect monitoring method of tool wear using the analysis of cutting force during dry machining of Ti alloys

In recent decades, optimize tool life is in constant evolution so many researchers have focused to analysis the tool wear by indirect monitoring (e.g. acoustic emission, cutting forces, vibrations) that plays a significant role in control and improvement of product during of machining operations - in real time to prevent instabilities of process. On another hand, it is recalled that titanium alloys are used in many industries as aerospace sector that have been utilized in strength to weight ration reduction in some parts of aircraft. Agro-ecosystems simulation models as web services for using in web applications

Agricultural system science includes the agricultural system models, the data needed to use them, and all the results for guiding deci-sions and policies. Modern cloud technologies can play an important role by providing effective interfaces for using these models. There are several websites that offer environmental data in real time. Some of these websites incorporate map-based geographical and environmental information such as weather forecasting and satellite imaginary. We im-plemented a simple environmental simulation model: the Web API-SWB Basic, as an experiment of accessing and executing agro-ecosystems models via a Web API. Our goal is to expand this model to a broader range of models that can be used for more comprehensive agro-ecosystems modeling like nutrient balances and cycling, carbon dynam-ics, rotations.
